There must be an easier way to select paint colors!  Ensuring a good color flow throughout your home or business is critical to a well-designed and harmonious interior.  But sometimes, people forget that color flow occurs not only through paint colors, but also with fabrics, furnishings, window treatments, and accessories.  Because I am an interior designer, when I help clients with color, I’m looking at all the elements in a space and making recommendations not only on paint color but on other ways to pull a space together.

Think of me as a color safety net.  I’m here to help.  Through the ColorHelp blog, I’ll share some of the tips I give my Color consultation clients here in Northern Virginia and the metropolitan Washington D.C. area, on how to assess your color needs, no matter where you live.   Along the way, I’ll share some of the interior and exterior paint color combinations I’m putting together for residential and small business clients and even myself, in case histories, and before and after photos, and sources of inspiration for spaces.  This will be a practical strategy for selecting paint colors.  I won’t be getting into every corner of the science of color.  Here’s my prayer – hoping you find this to be practical, helpful, and inspirational.
